Lowsonford is inspired by an 18th-century French document, typical of the 1760s, with gentle stripes, stylised carnations and wandering foliage. Designs of this kind reflected the era’s growing fascination with the natural world. The result is a simple and timeless pattern with a lovely sense of movement.

Our Lowsonford wallpapers are hand printed onto traditional heavyweight, non-woven papers with a matt, textured finish. We do not recommend sealing the papers with varnish or glazes. The wallpapers may be lightly sponged if needed but should not be washed.
