There is an elegance to Hanbury’s measured rhythm of snowdrop medallions that speaks to its neoclassical origins. It’s inspired by a late 18th-century fabric, which was originally made using a technique called discharge printing, which removes colour from dyed cloth using a bleaching agent. We screen print Hanbury on to a slightly thicker linen, making it suitable for fixed upholstery.
